The California Tribal Program at Tribal Energy Alternatives (TEA) centers on expanding access to renewable energy for Native American communities throughout California by partnering with Tribal Nations. The program helps implement solar energy projects and other renewable energy projects that not only reduce energy costs but also support sustainability and energy independence for tribal members. Tribal Energy Alternatives remains committed to increasing energy resilience through community-driven solutions. The organization will work with tribes to design and implement solar energy installations, provide workforce training programs, and advocate for policies that support Tribal energy sovereignty. The program aims to honor tribal sovereignty, cultural values, and renewable energy goals while promoting environmental justice through listening, planning, funding support, and implementation.
